Discovery Trek — Lost Valley Half-Day for Families

A short guided walk into the Lost Valley, built for families and for anyone who wants the scenery without a full day on their feet. We drive you to the trailhead just outside Vang Vieng, walk two to three hours through rice fields, a shaded jungle path and a limestone gorge, and stop at a viewpoint over the valley where our team lays out a Lao picnic lunch. The pace is set by the slowest walker, not by the guide. Children who can manage a couple of hours on a path will manage this one, and there is time to swim, look for hornbills and let them lead the way for a while. Same valley as our full-day trek, same guides, half the walking.
